* Mary-Ann has decades of experience in diocesan lay leadership roles, as evidenced in this 2021 article in a New Zealand Catholic newspaper: (https://www.wn.catholic.org.nz/adw_welcom/celebrating-a-catholic-leader/).  She has been actively engaged in Presentation associate leadership since the 1980s, when she and others approached the Sisters about forming a lay association.   This history and her participation in the 2011 Ballygriffin gathering undoubtedly led to her being invited twice by the Congregational Leadership Team to lead the International group of FON (2014-2018 and 2021-2024) and to attend the IPA Assembly in Newfoundland in 2023, after which she facilitated workshops for their FON.  She is a trained and experienced facilitator who has worked with many diverse cultures and groups, including some in Australia.
